The Rookie Chapter Seven As the first light of the day hit her optics Firewall wondered how she was meant to proceed. Ironhide had probably blabbed to everyone as it seemed that he couldn’t resist the gossip. So much for trusting Optimus Prime, Ratchet and the senior staff to remain quiet! As she made her way to the lab the femme decided to carry on as if none of those events had happened. She stood next to Wheeljack and began working on her half finished blaster. As she waited for the barrage of questions she was saddened when instead he said nothing. She assumed that he was angry with her.

The Rookie Chapter Five Part of the little femme wanted to run and hide. She had no problem facing the others but Starscream was a different matter. She knew though that if she backed down now she would always be haunted by him. This time was different as there was no river and she wasn’t alone. Kup stood alertly by her side, his blaster ready. In battle he was calm and focused, almost heroic. If he could stand and fight with all the horrors that he had seen then she could do no less. The tables had turned now and Starscream was alone; the bully had no backup and she was with Kup and Huffer.

The Rookie Chapter Four Darkness became painfully bright light as Firewall tried to work out what was happening. She could not feel her body and her world was silent. This time she surely had travelled to the place where sparks go after death. Something clicked on she could hear her voice but nothing else. Death was stranger than she thought; just bright lights and nothing else. A shadow marred the light, moving closer until she could make out the details.

“Urgh, Ratchet!”

Ratchet cursed as the supposedly off-line femme had said his name. How could he work efficiently if she kept coming out of stasis lock. He could only safely zap her with the E.M. pulse
