Mainly I used card mounting board from the art shop and kitchen foil. The whole thing is glues and duct taped together and the colours added with sharpies. It is really solid and surprisingly heavy. :)

Thank you, I made it for a charity hat event at work but have decided to finish the rest of the costume.

Mine is true 'Blue Peter' style, using things that are found around the home. I can use a lot of the shaping tips though to get the basic form right. Poor Wheeljack will be recycled.

My aim is to make the whole costume in a 'recycled' form out of household materials.

It's the first time I've been to a Transformers Convention so it should be great. Done others fir Dr Who and Star Trek in the past but this is special, and the first time I will have dressed up.
